"Hope that you all get home safely from today. Well, what a great day it was and what a superb event it turned out to be. The organisation was very slick and I cannot believe how smoothly those events ran through today – and we even got a half hour for lunch. With 405 Nippers entered and more than 1500 entries Pam and Diane were working flat out (they did a superb job) just to keep pace with the input of results because it ran so well. So a big thank you to everyone who did their bit."
"I know the kids got a bit unruly at times but in the end they were a model of good behaviour when it came to the presentations – I think some of their older club colleagues could learn a thing or two about behaving at presentations and coming forward for their medals when called. They were good."
"The final results are on the attached spreadsheet which shows a few slight amendments from the final aggregate scores that I read out this evening. These slight corrections are to take account of the DQs and also to remove the club codes when there were less than 16 finishers otherwise stray points get added in."
